If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the 25+ years of
being a dietitian, it’s that change takes time.
I know it can be tricky to navigate. Just when you feel like you’re getting a hang of nourishing yourself, your body, hormones, or season of life change… bringing you back to square one.
I am devoted to each of my clients, and work hard to help them make peace with food and within themselves to find recovery. I believe that food is more than “fuel” and should be enjoyed in a way that enhances your life and wellbeing to the fullest.
My career as a dietitian started at Linden Oaks Hospital in Naperville, IL. After my move to Texas in 2007, I opened Woodlands Nutrition, seeing clients outpatient who were navigating eating disorder recovery. I took a short break from private practice to help open and lead the dietitian team at Eating Recovery Center - The Woodlands, before returning to private practice full time in 2018.
Woodlands Nutrition started in 2007, but I’ve been treating eating disorders since 1998.
I have experience and training in working with all eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and orthorexia.
